Carols in Town Park is a community celebration of Christmas presented by The Salvation Army every December. It attracts huge crowds, bringing thousands people together to sing Christmas carols.
Unfortunately, Christmas in Australia is a very hot and dry affair and I wanted to bring a true Christmas feel to this video. By using model Christmas village sets, loads of fake snow and a decent amount of VFX trickery I was able to create the Christmas mood I always wanted this event to convey.
To top it all off it absolutely needed a British Santa voice over with Dr Seussian rhyme.
I couldn’t be happier with how the final product turned out.
